I really loved the old two tone factory paint jobs from the 50s, but they seemed to die out in the 60s and have never really made a come back.

While looking through the Gallery section, I came a cross a few examples of two-tone paint schemes, but most are on wagons from the 50s and earlier.

My challenge is show us two-tone paint scheme wagons from the 60s through today that rekindled this wonderful old tradition.

And wood paneling (real, plastic, paper or painted) doesn't count!:disagree:

I will start the ball rolling.....

I will be amazed if this gets into the 70s or beyond!

Here's mine. The original two-tone was the metallic brown on the roof only. I added the highlights on the fenders, grille, quarters rear panel and both fillers myself.
Considering that this is acrylic lacquer that I shot circa 1987 the paint job has held up incredibly well.

The original interior was a hideous green, I went for brown vinyl when I had it re-done. The place I had upholster it couldn't (or didn't want to) locate the original woven grasscloth headliner so now it's vinyl too.

I know this is an old thread, but I am considering painting my 64 Chevelle wagon two tone and was hoping someone either had a picture of one done or ? It has the original Azure Aqua paint on it still, and the roof is pretty well faded/paint gone.
I think I may paint the roof to see how it looks, then decide what to do for the real paint job.
Anyone know for sure if the factory two toned chevelle wagons in that year? I couldn't find any pics with a google search, just on sedans..

I'm thinking aqua on the bottom and either white or creamy white on the top and haven't decided if the "b" and "c" pillars should be the color of the roof or the body? The car is a semi-sleeper, four door with painted wheels and dog dish hubcaps, chrome roof rack, bucket seats from an SS and a 454 big block with 4 speed trans. (finally running and driving too!)
