Seriously Thinking Of Getting This Car

    It's got a good color combo. Seems nicely equipped too. They do ride and handle a little squishy though. For the most part, they did seem well made for the time. These 77-79 XR7's were a big part of my teenage-early 20's years, as I had a bunch of friends who owned them, and even one friend who had a Brougham 6 window sedan.

    Seems like a good price for only 49k miles. Would you have to go through a big smog shakedown for this vintage car bringing it into California?

    It does seem like a good price for a car with this mileage, and it looks clean, at least in photographs. Want to solicit some opinions before I fly out to take a look. Yes, it would need to be smog-checked, a necessary evil for post-'75 automobiles.
