LOL I remember seeing the andy griffth show where he reassembled a 63 Rambler inside the courtroom. That was funny.
RIP--Another natural comedy star has left us. George, as Goober, reminded me of many real shadetree mechanics where I grew up.
I just posted a pic from that episode on Facebook. I love that Episode. Hee Haw wasn't the same last night, I got sad every time I saw Goober on screen.
Someday I got to get a facebook maybe. I just dont like the idea of the government spying on people. Thats why I dont use google
My wife has no idea what this computer does. Yet she wants me to join Facebook because our kids and friends in Illinois are on it. I keep telling her if she wants to see the grandkids to tell her kids to send photos or send them to me by e-mail! I don't need no stinkin Facebook!
Oh please. There's paranoia and then there's being ridiculous. I think the mere fact that you are using the internet at all, such as to post messages in this forum or just sending an email, is enough for the gummint to spy on you. There are probably 10,000 or 100,000 searches using google performed every second every day all day by people all over the world. You think the government can keep track of all that? Using google doesn't make them any more likely to spy on you. Time now to get back in your air raid shelter!
Well....Hee Haw is still on......on the 50yo TV sets at CE's house. I heard that none of his 15 pre 1970 TV's will receive any show made after 1985.
Hell, they can find me here, or ...telephone. Hope I did'nt type that to fast for some of the young'ns..... Telephone, can be found in the dictionary....Oh Sh**...A dictionary is......oh hell, I am old trying to expalin this.....Just look it up on Google! Now where the F*** did I put the keys to my bomb Shelter?:banghead3: Sad to read this, I have alot of good memories watching the show as a kid and like all of them, he was a classic
I have a face book page thing. #1 son set me up...can't remeber why he said I needed it...but I don't use it much. I hardly have time to visit here never mind reading about peoples daily routines...oh wait... hahaha I guess that is exactly what I'm doing...so if this isn't face booking perhaps it's finger pages instead... And as for the Gov spying on me, they'd be bored stiff. They'd be better off watching Normy...where is he anyway? RIP Goober you are already missed.
Every Sunday at 7 on RFD-TV, my folks and I never miss it! I try my best to catch Lawrence Welk on Saturday night, too, but miss it quite often. 5pm on a Saturday is prime time for a guy my age! Would it help your point any further if I told you I'm watching Dragnet - 1969 right now? Ever see some of my phones?
