Need a new power gate switch for my Belair. the thing broke, with the window down of course. The cool thing is that there's a plug in the spare tire well that you can use to bypass the switch. Good to use in a pinch, but obviously not something to use regularly. I found replacement switches online, but they're $50-60! Is there a cheaper alternative, or should I break open my piggy bank? I'd like to keep the stock look and the location. I thought about a toggle, but don't wanna drill holes.
look at www.classicindustries.com ...the switch was basically the same as the 'power top' switch for the ragtop....if i remember correctly
