^^^^^^^^^Looks like the inside of some of the cars I've owned. I loved the big foot gas pedal and dimmer switch. They won't work on modern dimmer switches.:rofl2:
    Loved my Hurst shifters.

My sister saw this little guy while making a stop at the grocery store. You know when you live in the country you don't have to carry a dog in the back of your PU...:yup:

It's also ok to wear your pink fluffy slippers to the store.

Hubby and I have been around the sun 40 times together. [IMG]

In honour of this dizzying event [IMG]we have decided to treat ourselves with a trip to New Hampshire for a Nascar race.

Then we plan to drive up to Niagara Falls, taking in both sides. :ola:
Then I hope we can to get to the CN Tower :mg:
    and Parliament Hill. [IMG]

Then we are planning to travel back through New Burnswick [IMG]on the way home.

We decided to rent a car for the trip so there should be no worries about mechanical issues. [IMG]

We are both looking forward to a little holiday. :beerchug:

I hope the weather behaves it's self and there is no more concerns about hurricanes. [IMG]
We leave on our trip early next Thursday morning (Sept. 21). :burnout:

We should be in Kittery ME. by supper time. [IMG]

    That's where we're staying, [IMG]
it's so much cheaper...less expensive then NH. [IMG]

And we should be back home late Wed. Sept. 27. [IMG]

A lot of driving in a week by we both enjoy it. [IMG]

So next week when you are wondering why I have chimed in [IMG]

I hope you remember this post.[IMG]

Thanks guys, we are really looking forward to being away for a little bit. I'm planning a few surprises for hubby :shhh: The race track is going to post our anniversary on the BIG sign just prior to the race...:rednose: I'm thinking about taking him to a spa for a massage while I get a pedicure done...:thumbs2: And I hope to get him on the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls.:p He's not one for boats so this could take some talking...pushing. ;)

Good luck fannie. Just make sure you 'push him' into the boat and not under it or over the falls. I heard it's a long way to the bottom.
Maybe you can get Mr fannie in a race car.:racingflag:
I just noticed I could use a pedicure. I'll hint to my wife for our anniversary.

If you're real lucky, you just might get to see the 'back side of water', like on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland.....

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^------------There's a road in the Smokey Mountains where you drive behind a waterfall. We were there years ago. 59wagonman posted some photos of his 59 Chevy wagon there one time.

Is he missing any toes? Just tell him there's a Molson fridge aboard, and that he should brush up on his anthem singing.

So I'm sitting in the wagon getting ready to go home from work. This man in a big Suburban drives past, stops and walks back to me. I put the window down and he asks me if I wanted to sell the car. At first I thought he was kidding and waited for him to say more, he just repeated himself. He didn't ask anything about the car. Not "what year is it?" or "nice car it reminds me of one we had as a kid" nothing. So I said "well not now I have to go home." He said I have two others like this but they are sedans, would love to have a wagon, would I like to sell it. I told I never really gave it much thought but maybe he should give me his name and number and if I decided to sell I'd give him a call. Twice he said " you won't loss that will you?"

I think he liked my car.
