Gotta love those Porsche Engineers! It takes a pretty flexible driveshaft to work in there.:rofl2:

Nope, that is a 1991-1996 GM B-Body wagon. The rear 1/4 vent windows, interior, and tailgate arrangement gave that away to me.

I don't know about the cylinders, but the main caps and webbing are heavier-duty!

So apparently they can withstand higher horsepower builds.
I think I'm gonna build a stoker and put it in a boat! That's why I mentioned Lake of the Woods to Norman. I have a place on a big lake.

HandyAndy has had it checked out and he'd be more informed. But the mains looked beefier and generally the piston bearings were starting to look ratty, but it never gave me trouble, except for the oil leak at the back of the intake mnfld.

HandyAndy had it dunked and degreased and he's already got some work going on the heads, crank and pistons at one of the good machineshops, so he'll have some info. I know the Engine serial number is not from a Canadian or US plant. But that's as far I looked into it.
