    I would start with the 1958/59 green impala in the background. Probably would be easier to get parts for. I am so jealous, I wish i had a bunch of old wagons in the woods somewhere! Those wagons are gonna turn some heads if you get them going:yup:

    First post ever...anywhere!

    Thought that I would report in from Austin Texas. A car guy for many decades,I am currently involved with a '62 Catalina Safari wagon that found me. It has been in stowage since 1980 in a small town nearby. The old 389 was shot, no trans at all. We are replacing them with a yc block 455 from a '71 Trans Am,and a Turbo 400.I'll work on some photos soon- '62 Cat

    sounds good to me

    checked out a 62 Catalina Safari on photobucket.Pretty good looking wagon. Your drivetrain upgrade should do it justice. :1st:
