My buddy Laird is on another business trip. I wonder how many other corporate types change out of dress clothes after meetings and hit the salvage yards in their rental cars. Very cool. Alcatraz or Pick-N-Pull....and Laird goes to the junk yard! Haha! Just got sent these below pics from the South Bay Pick-N-Pull in San Jose California. Enjoy! Thanks Laird! Is it Fiesta time? NO! Roady wagon Mustang "art car" AMC Ramler Neat Oldsmobile If he sends any more intersting ones I'll post them up. -Mike
Fiesta, cool... Roady, too bad, looks like there's lots of good parts... Mustang "art car" What the... Who would do that to a 69 Mustang!? Some people's kids.
Funny comparison - you've got a '60 Rambler with just 'tired' paint - doesn't look too bad at all. Then you've got a '90's B-body RMW that's quickly turning into a rust bucket.....
Yeah, that Roady sure is toasty. Stick a fork in it; it's done! Coming from that climate though, I bet the underpinnings are rust free and solid as a rock.
He went to another yard out there over the weekend. Just came in to these pics in my Inbox this morning. California fun! Gold OCC, has grill and hood ornament Uncle Rico's Van Whoo...turbo...hahahahahaha '78 Electra Limited...wish this was closer! Such fun! -Mike
I'm guessing that Stang was done a good time back. I'm sure someone will atleast get some good parts off it. The Olds and Rambler look clean. Shame on the Custom Crusier especially if it is a '92. It's probably less common even compared to the Rambler. If you're interested in that Electra, I've got a '83 Riviera and I'm only a few hours from you. I'll shoot you a pm with details.
Nice. I don't know if you saw it in the link I sent, but I've also got that 74 Regal brown with the tan top.
