    1971 Double-Ended Chevy Oddity

Cars have been around for well over a century now, and in that time humanity has proven that there is no limit to the imagination of people when it comes to custom cars. Just about everything that can be done, has been done. Still, there are many combinations of custom cars, and we’ve never seen Chevy Impala’s done up quite like this.
Behold, the double-ended 1971 Chevy Impala “exotic.” This unusual automobile is up for sale on eBay for a cool $9,000.
The eBay advertisement is surprisingly devoid of relevant information, other than the power plant in this car is a 400 V8. Inside the trunk, er, other hood is the spare tire (not much cargo room for two of the bigger cars ever made, combined). The flaming paint job and subtle chrome wheels are a really nice touch, but we’re not as sure about having steering wheels in both the front and other-front of this contraption. Can you actually drive this car both ways? That’d be cool.

The interior is clean, but no custom touches have been done to it. However, we believe the seller’s assertion that this car “draws more attention than a wet t-shirt contest.” This looks like a very well-put together oddity, with a lot of attention to the little details, such as the insert fitted in-between the suicide doors. This is certainly one of the odder contraptions to show up on eBay, and that’s a good thing.

    Cool! :thumbs2:
This has been done many times with FWD cars, like the Chevy Citation, but this is the first full size RWD I've seen.
