Hello, My name is Curtis, and I own a 1960 Oldsmobile Super 88 Fiesta. I have had the car about 5 years. I'm so happy to find this site today. It's nice to find folks who love wagons.
anyone a tad bit left of center is right at home here ,,,,, but i reckon were the normal ones here,,,, heck it takes a special person ie;( not short bus special ) to realize the beauty of a wagon :2_thumbs_up_-_anima
Yeah Curtis! Welcome aboard. Its a visual sport, and these camera bugs won't let you rest without pics.
Visuals I posted a picture of my wagon in the gallery. I'll work on gettin one attached to my profile. I also tried to attach a picture here. This car is very rare, and we have had the best time taking it to shows over the last 5 years. It's fun to watch people's reaction to it, and it seems like at every show someone comes up and tells a story about going cross country on a family vacation as a kid in a wagon.
P.S. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I look forward to using the vast resources available on this sight courtesy of the knowledge and passion of the many members, and I hope to be able to be a resource to someone myself.
apparently you have us confused with another board................. .. well that was worth the wait...thats bloody beautiful!!! ...and i almosy crapped when i saw the plate!!....mines says.. As Clint would say, "Legends in our own minds." The Rev cuts to the chase with: But with your machine looking so pristine, I can see you know a ton or two that we could use. These wagons need TLC, since we treat them rough... well a little rough. And yours looks like you knew how to give it to 'er, just right. Really nice wagon. It's a 394 CID, isn't it? Probably the only thing that could give a big Chryco wagon a good run, Stock-to-Stock, back then. Mean engine, and a heck of a tranny.
