Hi all, I'm Albert and currently have my new to me 84 Pontiac Parisienne wagon. I picked it up last week and have many plans for it. For now it is get it all caught up on maintenance and fix it to 100% (as close as possible). Then do the body and paint during the first year or so. All while searching for the perfect driveline swap, probably a 5.3L with a turbo or 2. A little background on me. I am a longtime Pontiac fan. I have had 2 other Parisienne wagons, 5 Trans Ams, and 2 G8's. As far as wagons go I have also had a 94 Caprice wagon and a 96 Roadmaster wagon. Currently I have a 08 Pontiac G8 Gt and my Parisienne wagon. I just sold my 87 Trans Am GTA to get the wagon. I look forward to reading and sharing my progress with you all. Thank you for reading Pics will follow when I get home later.
You're way down and over from us. Good luck on the wagon project. We're on the other Florida coast near the Suwannee river.
Welcome aboard Albert! You have quite a fleet of cool cars there. You're a good 4 hrs or so south of us. Jack
Thanks Jack. My wife drives a Yukon XL Denali as well. We are a GM family for sure. There is also a Trailblazer SS in the extended family lol.
Albert, Thanks for sharing pics of your rides. I can tell you really dig those GM B-body wagons. *wink* Your newest wagon is cool addition. It's nice finding them in original condition and not hacked up by the previous owner. I like those G8's. You very rarely see them on the road. Perfect sleeper. Even the (Holden) GTO's look like any other jellybean on the road today. If i had one, I'd remove all the GTO badging. Jack
Absolutely true. I love my G8 because you dont see them lol. I agree with the GTO as well, they are very nice inside and the powertrain. Not very attractive. Out of 65 cities on Craigslist, this was 1 of 3 Pontiac wagons. They are not easy to find anymore.
