Well, I finall did it. The JDM Legacy GT-B suspension is completely installed. Handling is definitely improved, though my current tires aren't quite a match for the stiffer suspension. I also had to put my dinky stock rear sway bar back on because the aftermarket one would hit the exhaust whenever the rear supension compressed more than an inch or so. I think some shorter end links will solve this problem. Anyway, here are the pics!:

Aw man! That thing has a bad-ass stance, now. Maybe put an 1" larger wheel on it and some sticky shoes, and it will really be killer.

haha, can I have your stockers when you get the new wheels?

I said this on SLi, but I think it looks better lower. ;)

What are the X's on your frog lights? protective clip, mounting clip, or just for looks?

I noticed the X's too. I thought that it just might be tape...like the olde school racers. Ha!

I still have my '99 GT-B wheels. They are sporting Blizzak tires at the moment, but the car doesn't see snow anymore.

The Wed's wheels that I have on it now are out of round. The previous owner was rough on them.

Bronze BBS wheels sound like a good idea. Or something like them. That would look good with blue.

Heh. The Xs are just tape. When I took off the plastic grilles over the fog lights they looked too bare, so I taped 'em. My excuse is that if the glass breaks, it doesn't go everywhere.

I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to sell the stock wheels when I get new rims.

I've looked at these pics a couple of times in the last month or so...that is a good lookin' car! I had a Jeep Cherokee in the same colours a few years back...in a way, it's like my Subaru and my Jeep had a kid. It's kinda' off-road tough, and sporty at the same time. Utility, fun to drive, and tough all in one!

Maybe the "low-profile" look would detract from that. What's the fatest tires that we can fit under our Subies? Perhaps, go with the same sidewall height and go wide as you can. After all, unless you are running 70's cornering handling is not effected too much. Knowing what I know about the Bilstein suspension, the slight rebound of a side-wall would be welcome.

    Once again...looks great!
