Hi, been a member for a while, mainly looking at the for sale and the auctions/CL/other postings. Although my first car was not a wagon (but a loaded big block '68 Caprice 2Dr), my second was - a '66 impala. As the kids were growing, I wanted a '70 - '72 Vista Cruiser for obvious reasons, but that was before the internet so what I found locally here in Milwaukee was not that great. So I ended up with a loaded '79 Caprice wagon, then a loaded '80 Olds Custom Cruiser (with a Olds 350, last year for it), and then a loaded big block '68 Caprice wagon to compliment the '68 2 Dr, and finally a '88 Olds Custom Cruiser, again super loaded. Over the years sold the all those and got a '01 Audi S4 Avant. The Audi was nice, fast, but not the same as the older stuff, too expensive and not as fun to work on. So I sold it, and I still wanted the Vista Cruiser, just for me. Found one this year, nicely loaded of course, and am looking forward to working on it. Hope to connect with other VC members. Welcome Karl. Good luck with your wagon. I've never owned a Vista Cruiser but drove one in a work car pool for awhile. I loved it.
