    Just signed up.

Kind of looking for a 60's wagon, thought there would be some good info here.

My daily driver for 10 years was a 74 Bronco, totally stock when I bought it.
Added EFI, Nv3500 5 speed from Dodge Dakota, front discs from a 76 Blazer,
    seats from a Miata.

Currently swapping a 1KZT turbodiesel into a 95 4Runner, when thats complete, (if ever) I will be looking for something larger, maybe a 60's wagon,

Need more rear seat room than the 4runner has, 13 yr old son is just shy of 6 feet and still growing......

:Welcome:roundhouse. Start lookin around Atlanta for the wagon of your dreams. Even if it turns out to be a nightmare. You will never go back to those short wheelbased other things. Get the family to join in and you will love it. Wagons make great family vehicles and super road warriors. Good luck.

You may need one of these:

    Welcome to the forum......

P.S. How many of you guys think that John Wayne actually drove around all the time in this wagon, with the steer horns and his name plastered all over it. I for one, think it was just a publicity man's idea. I actually saw this wagon - think it was at either Harrah's in Reno or the Imperial Palace in Vegas.

Welcome aboard! Funny thing, I can relate to most of your intro...
My Dad still has his '73 Bronco, I grew up in those things. They will go anywhere.
    I dropped a chevy 350 V8 into my '88 4Runner years ago.
And finally made it to wagons and have never looked back. Let us know what you are looking for and I'm sure we can keep our eyes open. I've actually got a '67 Tempest wagon I'm selling, but I'm not sure it's going to give that boy of yours legroom from the back seat. Just make him sit sideways!

No worries a few more years he'll be in the front seat...drivers side that is! :dancing:

Sounds like you enjoy tinkering with your cars. Do you have a brand perference? These guys are really good at finding really cool deals...especially when it's someone else's money. :p
    :Welcome: aboard.

Being comfortable for a bigger man has always been a big appeal for wagons, to me. I'm 6'1 and 215-230 lbs depending on how I'm eating lol!
