So i posted awhile ago about fluid leaking from the right back passenger wheel which turned out to be leaking from the axle. The mechanic fixed that and while my wagon was there i told him to replace the windshield wiper motor since the wipers were stuck in the on position across my windshield. So he just called and said the motor he bought has 2 plugs and one doesnt match up. He asked me if i knew where to get the correct part lol. I told him no but could post on the station wagon forum i belong to since there are super smart guys and gals on there that most likely could help. So he gave me a cardone number A140-293 and said the motor has to have 2 plugs, one a 4 wire and the other a 2 wire. Does anyone know where i can buy this part. I moved out intoa rural area, and i mean like farm area from Ct so i dont know where any junk yards are and i do not know where to buy parts for my wagon. Its a 1990 Ford crown vic country squire ltd. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

If he is saying that 40293 is the one he needs then it looks like Green Sales may have an OEM part in stock.
http://www.greensalescompany.com/ The Ford part number should be E7VY17508B

Double check and make sure that is what you need, but that is one of the Ford part numbers that Cardone cross references with their two plug wiper motor.

Green Sales is selling you a NOS OEM Ford part not the Cardone part. That is why I said to double check to make sure that Ford part number I posted is definitely correct. Just because Cardone cross referenced it doesn't mean it is 100% right. Do your research first.

I emailed them asking about that part number and to make sure it has 2 plugs, a 4 and a 2 wire whatever that is.. I dont know much about cars, just like to drive and look at them, worked on the basics when i was younger, not healthy enough to do anything to them now. Thanks for the info. Will see what they say. I also emailed cardone asking the same questions hoping they might have something that will work

Let Green Sales look it up they have the ability to do that. Give them the VIN number.
