I'm building my first wagon ! A 1971 Torino Country Squire. I saw this car on hot Rod TV on the 2011 Power tour show on Speed. Coincidentaly I had seen it before on Ebay and didn't sell. I had saved it. After watching the Australians who came all the way over here and bought it in California , i decided to contact them and wound up buying it. It is just about done. I rebuilt the C4 , added a Torino Ramair Shaker from Ford Ramair, intake with a 600 holly 4bbl. Shelby finned valve covers , replaced almost every A'C component and am in the process of replacing each and every panel of wood grain.:banghead3: Time consuming and patience !!!!! Once I figure out how to post pics in here , I'll do it. I have been in the Car business for the last 30 years and this is the first wagon I've done. This attracts more attention than many of my muscle cars I've owned. it's fun having and doing it. Anyways , great site and enjoy it. Regards to all. P.S. Just tried to load some pics. Not sure how they will come out
Beautiful wagon, and nice try with the pics, but we need them bigger. Like what you're doing with the ram air. And what about the interior. That snazzy ram air set up need some Torino GT buckets and console behind it. Also - what was your source for the Di-noc? Inquiring minds want to know.. Welcome to the forum! Marshall
The interior is as new ! I wanted to go your route but , Damn , just hard to pop the extra $$$$ with the interior so mint . I'll post pics of the interior soon. Thanks for the reply As , for the wood , my neighbor owns a 20K printer and she took a picture of the interior wood with a mega high pixel and then downloaded it to the computer and printed it for me. It has taken a month of trial and error. ! I could write a book on it with her ! But it was worth it. I should have the last 2 panels on tomorrow. I'll post a pic in a few minutes. The grain is darker than original as it's the way I wanted it and I decided against the wood pinstripes per the originals. Hope I can help you guys and Gals with any questions.
Thanks to all Trying to post more pics of the wood replacement. Looks like tomorrow Will show the finished product tomorrow.
