I survived the move. Now I have a garage full of stuff to go thru and figure out what I'm keeping (no, the Fairmont isn't among the stuff). So, greetings from Dublin, Indiana!!

The Dublin I know of, the one across the big pond, has a LOT of pubs. Perhaps this one mirrors that one and DR is busy checking them out and too busy to post pics of the new joint???????

Hey, DR, glad to hear you are busy unpacking. Make sure you unpack that camera and make us happy.

And welcome to your new home.

I'm getting there. Not at all like Ireland, no pubs. Not even a gas station or grocery store!!
I checked out the nearby action at the dragstrip (Muncie Dragway), and saw quite a few wagons racing. Next time I'll get a few shots, including a nice 79 Malibu wagon that uses his wheelie bars!!

Hey Drg racr I saw on the 4 eyed forum you were looking too see if the guage pods from a Mustang fit the Fairmont pillars. Did you ever get one, because I'm looking for something too?

I have been told that they will fit, but will need a little modification to fit perfect. I haven't tried it yet. Right now, I'm trying to clear out the garage so I have space to work. I have a 26ft-truck's worth of house stuff in it!! I'm having a major yard sale this weekend.

I found these at LRS - halfway down the page. The inside A-pillar trim is the same until you get to the kickpanel joint halfway down at the dash.

Drg-Racr, Years ago (1975), I was a plant manager for a diecasting company that made IH nameplates and mirrors for IH. Made a lot of friends. When our plant shutdown, the IH manager offered me a job down there, but I had one already lined up. Generous, friendly folks. Just wear earplugs when listening to the corn growing. :rofl2:
You must have some Sunflower growers there. I like to go and sit in the car, once in a blue moon, and watch the sunflowers turn with the sun's rotation. Amazing how they can do that. Even more amazing when you walk through the rows of sunflowers and realize that you're so short! Man, can they grow tall!
