NO....not what you're thinking! Such dirty minds here!

I'm going to opening day at the Drag Strip in Byron, IL today. See what 'ol Cappy will do. Should be comical watching 4800 lbs of wagon lumbering down the track.:D

don't kill it fox. remember...muscle cars are usually faster.....but you will burn some rice. especially when the "fart-can brotherhood" start talking $hit from their 200hp turbo civics that have no bottom end and are loaded up with 500lbs of subwoofers and amps.

Get pictures. Posting a picture of your wagon on the dragstrip could easilly become one of the challenges in the station wagon picture game.

:rofl::biglaugh: If you don't mind- I am so going to use that!
Those 500 lbs of a 'phat system' hopefully will be drowned out by the real music of rumbling V8's.
Have fun at the track, Fox- be safe!
    :camera: if possible.

Fox, it may not be the fastest car out there but I do believe you have that 5000lbs. wagon fooled into thinking it is a 3000lbs. car.

Good luck silverfox. You're already my winner so how fast or half-fast you and your big ole wagon move down the drag strip doesn't matter.
:clap:Man, it's been a life-time since I've been to Byron dragstrip. Heard it was gonna reopen. Seems like drag strips and drive inns are becoming famous again.
Give em hell Big Daddy #2.

    Just remember. Green means Go.
My first time, I watched as my buddy lined up in the lane next to me, and I wasn't even watching when the lights went red red red green. My buddy would have gotten more than a car length on me, but it was his first time too. Since he's color blind, and can't tell red from green, and the lights don't quite look like a traffic light, he was waiting for me to go first. Both of us had a 6 second long reaction time.

Should be near the top of the speed vs. weight standings....
    that should be fun.

    I'm guessing around 14.5 and 108 in the 1/4 - just a wild guess.

Fox, you are in for a real hoot. Your car is so nicely done up it will blow a lot of folks away just seeing it, and then when it hauls ash down the track you've got to know the price of wagons in the area will go up on Monday.

    Knock their socks off.
