I knew right off I was gonna hate this truck. Bite my tongue----To me most old Dodge trucks are butt ugly. Not just ugly, but butt ugly!:rofl2:
But I love this one and would like to hitch it to an old RV and follow the highways.

That's why they made so many different brands and styles. We all like something else. The early Chevy trucks have always been what I liked and the engines have nothing to do with it.
Dodges and Studebaker trucks just looked to bulky in front.
But this 1950 Dodge looks more like a heavy duty Chevy big truck.

Heck, I'd drive that.....and use it for what a truck is ment for, I'd take care of it, but it would be used as truck:yup:

My dad was a Dodge truck man. He had had a few when I was growing up. None as old as that one. In a couple of the pics it looks like a toy.

    That's Nelly, my 1950 Studebaker/Superior 'school' bus.
Did you maybe mean the later '57 and up fiberglass-nosed Transtars?
    Here is Dad's '62 next to Nelly~

I like the earlier ones myself. :whew:

Looks a little short to put one of those JerrDan beds on. Have been thinking, for a while now, if I won the Lotto and started collecting nice old cars, I'd want a nice old truck to tow them around with.
