    as the unthinkable has happened.

Tuesday i got off work at non we decided to go watch our granddaughter

play soccer she's 5 (funny stuff).

We ended up at there place for supper and steff "says you guys take her and

have fun i'll stay home" .

All's well till while i put my shoes on i stop and say " i can't do this"

    Do what? the wife says

I can't turn the man van to a soccer mom van!

Although the coolest van there what with chrome T@C wheels, cat back

    exhaust and cold air intake.

When it comes to the grandkids, the rules don't apply! How lucky for your grandchild that Grandpa can come watch their game - good for you!

    Yes, and after all.......................................................

..... Maybe it's time to get a really cool older station wagon to haul the grandkids around, then you wouldn't have to trash......the mini van!

I all ways use the my wagons more than our mini van for just that reason!

    And if you believe that.......:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

we took our wagon up the Dixie hwy to Chattanooga .on the way we stopped at 6 flags over Atlanta .we got there when they opened and as we were parking I layed the wagon down on the bags, makes it harder to steal if it is laying on the asphalt. the soccer mom next to me gets out of her minivan just as this is happening and she says" you just made me the least coolest soccer mom in history" and we all laugh. definitely cooler in an older wagon

Well, here's some inspiration for 'ya, but I'm afraid it's still not anywhere as cool as a real wagon.

Did they turn this one into RWD? That is cool - even for a mini van.

The only wagon for me would be a magnum r/t.

I've had 2 of the shorty 70's Dodge vans, one was a company's van (77), no side or rear glass, blue with a 318. The van was mint and a really nice drive. The one I owned was a 78 slant 6, 3 on the tree. Sat under a car port for several years and I got it for free. Got it running with the stale gas and a zillion cups of fresh gas down the carb, swapped tires and 2 weeks later drove from the island to Fort St John and back trouble free, never even changed the oil. The wipers and head lites were the only thing that worked, no fuel gage, interior/dash lites, nothing. Drove it for over a year trouble free until........the dash smoke show fire one morning:rofl2:

Man it was a sloooowwwwwwww ride up the mountains, but a lot of great memories as I was picking up my kid from visiting her Mom for the summer (Kindergarten). Camping, caching my girls first frog, and having a blast at the now long gone Flintstones Bed Rock City kids park. Was counting pennies to pay for the ferry trip back to the island:yup:....Great times:)

Tedy, you do realize that this isn't a real Dodge van, don't you?

It's actually some Japanese van thingy made to look like the Dodge. (another peculiar Japanese automotive fad......)

    Here's the real deal....
