Hi Dan. sorry can't really help. But check this thread-----> Site News, Feedback, Suggestions and Help
I guess that's where I go wrong. I just go down toward the bottom and use MANAGE ATTACHMENTS. Not nearly as good but I can add a few photos that way. Guess I'll have to check out Photobucket too.:2_thumbs_up_-_anima
These are two entirely different approaches, and the former is much better, in my opinion. In one case, you're posting (uploading) the photos here, while in the other, you're posting them at a third party site and linking to the photo here. Using a third party site like Photobucket, Flickr, Picasa, or many others has several advantages. First, you can post more than the limit of five photos per message. I think the maximum is 20, but I'm not sure. Second, and more importantly, the images appear at full size, not as thumbnails, so you're not constantly clicking back and forth between the message and the image that's posted in it, which I find annoying. Third, you're not limited by this site's photo size limitation of 100 kB, so you're not constantly looking to shrink your image files. Since these hosting sites are free, there is really no reason not to do this. It's the only method I use.
Dan, Try uploading the pictures to the gallery http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10 If your images are to big, you may have to re-size them http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=307 If you have not seen this, take a look at this guide http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9 You can also email (wagonmaster@stationwagonforums.com) the pictures to me and I can post them for you.
You can upload and post full size images on the forum. The size limit is currently set to 500K and not 100K. An advantage of uploading pictures directly to the forum is that the images are backed up and wont disappear over time. I will increase the 500K and 5 image limit this week.
Thank you, does this mean I will have a bit more space to upload pictures? I am running out of space.
