You can do it that way, or you can post them here. The advantage of posting to a separate site (I use picasa) is that you can then link to the photo here, and the photo appears full-size in the posting, rather than as a thumbnail. To post a photo here, just scroll down to the "manage attachments" button below the message window when you're creating a message, click on it, click on "browse" and navigate to the folder on your computer that contains the image you want to upload, and upload it. They need to be smaller than 100 kB in size, and I think you're limited to five attachments per message. If you want to post, say, 8 photos, that means creating two messages. This is one of the reasons why putting your photos on an external site is an advantage as you're not limited to five images per posting.
