Hotrod Mag's editors made a series of DIY articles (Ultimate Paint and Body Guide) on everything from paint stripping to Weatherstrip, and all points in between. So I thought I'd keep the links:

Part 1 - Guide To Paint And Bodywork
    http://www.hotrod.com/howto/hdrp_0605_paint_body_1/index.html

Part 2 - How To Strip Paint
    http://www.hotrod.com/howto/hdrp_0606_paint_stripping_basics_tips/index.html

    Part 3 - Got Dents?
    http://www.hotrod.com/howto/hrdp_0607_dents/index.html

Part 4 - The War Against Rust
    http://www.hotrod.com/howto/hdrp_0608_rust_war/index.html

Part 5 - Panel Alignment (Doors, Hood, Trunk/Tailgate)
    http://www.hotrod.com/howto/hdrp_0609_panel_alignment/index.html

Part 6 - How To Choose What Goes on Your Car (Primer, Fillers, Paints)
    http://www.hotrod.com/howto/hdrp_0610_paint_body_tips_tricks_materials_sanding/index.html

Part 7 - Taking Your Paint Project From Primer to Pigment
    http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/body/hrdp_0611_car_paint_techniques/index.html

Part 8 - Color Sanding and Polishing All That Paint On Your Car
    http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/body/hrdp_0612_color_sanding_paint/index.html

Part 9 - Installing Emblems Weatherstripping Detail Pieces
    http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/body/hrdp_0701_automotive_trim_decals/index.html

Part 10 - How To Treat Fresh Paint
    http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/body/hrdp_0702_car_polishing_techniques/index.html

Then I found a couple of British site pages dealing with Rust Prevention on a Triumph owners site:
    http://www.t2000register.org.uk/

    Rust Part One
    http://www.t2000register.org.uk/original_site/SIXappeal/SIXappealsnippets/rust1.htm

    Rust Part Two
    http://www.t2000register.org.uk/original_site/SIXappeal/SIXappealsnippets/rust2.htm

I figured since the weather is getting nice, maybe this stuff is useful to most of us. :tiphat:

And for the novices in Roller Painting your wheels:
Hotrod Mag's half-hearted attempt (they have to sell ads to the big paint vendors. :) )

I always try to get a Hot Rod magazine with the body and paint. But I always find they never give enough information.

You and I did the right thing going to the RolledOn site, cause the HR article (July 2007) just did a really low-brow, 'proof-of-concept' test.

When you see this Vette, you know it can be done right!

Stay on the lighter colour ranges. LV is a mother for heat. Do something that mates up with the interior.

That image resizer (freebie) that Stefan referred us to has other freebies too but your camera software should have photo-editing toys.
