    Hi,
new guy here , from somewhere on the wrong side of the ocean...
I'm restoring a wife '82 Olds Custom Cruiser, other wise I run a '70 Buick GS455, a couple of 1996 Eagle visions (one works with LP-gas), and several mid '80's japanese cars (beaters), I also have a '73 Opel Commodore GS2.8..
It's always nice not to be alone, when you have tons of projects !

I still remember my first flight! 1975 in a 737. For about 5 seconds, your brain and your stomach are wondering :yikes: what the :badwords: happened!

Then you can't peel your eyes away from the window!

He's lucky that "TAXI!!!" is universal. I lived in Guadalajara, Mexico for 5 years, where they have LOTS of those 'turning circles', sometimes with 5 lanes. If you don't gird up your loins and hit the gas, after crawling in the core lane, you'd rot. "Use it or lose it" comes to mind. They call them 'gloriettas' in Mexico. Nothing glorious about them.

You should try Canada's Highway 1! 5,900 miles from one side of Canada to the other, except for two Ferries. One in Newfoundland/Labrador from Nova Scotia, and one from Tssawassen, British Columbia to Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island.

But I agree, the US highways are some of the most scenic anywhere. I've driven in Germany too, but the views aren't as impressive. Mexico's highways, near the center of the country are really scenic too.

We've got obstacles too. The Moose and Deer crossings, and one (really) Canada Goose crossing in Downtown Vancouver. - They waddle across the 6 lane street with their babies from one side of the park to the other.:rofl2:

Radar is only in the major cities, and on known highways where people think they're on the German AutoBahn, snow drifts, July sandstorms in Southern Saskatchewan, and the Rocky Mountains - but that one is a voluntary sight-seeing stop! :thumbs2:

Yeah! I went through there in 1975. Real pretty. We had a few highways with those ramp type speed bumps, near turn-offs from major highways. None out here in the western Prairies. Of course the cities are about 600 miles apart, and the towns are too small for cloverleafs.:rofl2:
