Two young Tom turkeys are out in the barnyard talking. The first one asks the second, "And we just lay around and stuff ourselves?" And the second one says, "Yeah, something like that."

Anyone still got turkey that you haven't frozen yet? Anyone grab the shotgun from the closet at the mere mention of 'turkey?'

We had Thanksgiving with friends and were "forced" to take enough turkey and the sides for TWO MORE MEALS.
Friend June told me when I called again to thank her for the third turkey meal she told me when we run out come get more!

I just got a new load myself, along with the remnants of the antipasto and other snacky goodies. I'm thinking of making a pot of soup I can parse out to my niece and my brother & sister-in-law. The big disappointment this year, though, was the commercially-made pies. THEY ALL SUCKED. Last year, they were still fairly tasty; this year, they soooo cheapened them out, they were just sweet with little or no flavor.
