I recently bought a used rotary asymetrical two post lift from a local company that services and sells lifts. It was installed today and works great. The installers put new sheaves and cables in it. It already had new sliders. Will need some paint touch up around the bottoms. First thing I put on it to check was the wagon. I could raise it to walk under height without contacting the ceiling. I could have used it last Monday when I pulled the drive line out of the GTO. I should have taken some photos - I will in the next couple of days. I'm a happy man.
Good deal. After many years of sliding under on my back, bumping my head and belly, I gave up. Just follow all safety rules.
Cool! My dad and I are in the process of adding on to garage and I have a 9000# Rotary lift to install I bought from my work.
I remember that too. Shortly after we moved into our new--old house, I tore out the old narrow cement driveway and put in a long wide one. Started out one car wide at street and ended up four cars wide at garage. We lived on a cul-de-sac with pie shaped lot. Now in Florida I have a garage wide enough for three cars yet still work on the 20X20 cement apron out front. Rarely ever got to work inside. An inside lift would make me feel I died and went to car guy's heaven.
HUMMMM, I wonder how much of ah PITA it would be to raise the roof 'bout 3' on the little playpen and add ah lift while the roof waz off for the WALL ADDITIONZ!!!!!!!!!!!
