I haven't been able to do much the last few weeks but did clean the cars up today and get a picture of them together.
No winter crap here but I notice even though my red truck is under a vinyl pole building it's slowly turning yellow again. 80+ acres of pine trees across the street. No wonder many people are sniffin and snorthin.
Nice selection of cars. I'm sure neighbors are looking and thinking "I need to get my car over there while he is still in cleaning mode"
I was thinking the same kinda thing, a nice variety to choose from depending on the day and the mood.
If I had neighbors other than my mom and dad...but mom did get her Charger in the line and made sure it got cleaned before I picked up the cleaning supplies I did get my dad to drive his Malibu today, it has around 1200 miles on the new engine and he put only 400 of them on it...I'm not complaining but I do like to see him driving them also Thanks for the compliment, the '55 was the first frame off resto he and I did. We did 4 or 5 frame on, on a couple other cars and trucks. We originally intended to do it as a full on show car, the frame and floors were all painted and cleared where we could put mirrors under it but we completed it put 90 miles on it and Hurricane Katrina hit and my dad lost his garage and moved here by me. I didn't have a garage so the car sat in the elements for 2 years while we dealt with getting them a place to live and it took it's toll on the paint and stuff but it turned it into a nice driver that we have put a lot of miles on in the last 7 years which is what I wanted from the beginning because I believe in enjoying them...and now so does my dad.
It didn't quit make it to 90 degrees yesterday but the sun was out brightly. What's odd though, last Monday and Tuesday we actually had the furnace on at nite. Now windows are open and the AC is tempting by evening. We're roughin it though!
Yeah, was cold here also in the AM yesterday, didn't need heat but had to drive with the window rolled half way up till noon
