i didnt post anything on the forum for a very long time. i was so busy with 83 k20 suburban. shipping from washinton to kuwait and fix it. but finally i have 1983 wagon and 1983 suburban. ive been looking for the suburban for almost 10 years. i hope you like it .
Suburbans are cool and I like the analogy of it being a "big sister" to your wagon. Nice looking wagon too, btw.
thanks my friend. my factory 305 start dying . and i couldnt find a professional machineshop in kuwait to let them touch my engine. im second owner after my father. so i have to get a truck to be able to tow my wagon to germany or russia to rebuild my engine.
Despite your challenges, I'm glad to hear you're not giving up on it! My '87 has the 307. Be glad yours is not laden with vacuum hoses, lol.
looks really clean.oldsmobile engines are the best. i would love to own another wagon with a 350 diesel. i had to disable the heater and the thermostat and egr...etc . lets say the onlt vaccum hoses im using is for the pcv valve and the ac vent and power brake.
Wow, That is real neat that you have a wagon and suburban from the same manufacturer and the same year. It must be a challenge owning American cars in a place that doesn't have many American cars. Or parts, or folks who know how to work on them. That's quite a commitment. I think it's pretty awesome. Good luck with the repairs to your wagon and thanks for sharing.
Nice pair. Hubby and I lovingly call Suburbans "moose" because they are BIG, can go almost anywhere and are rarely seen. Welcome back.
