You all can have your dreams and that's OK. But, the reality is that GM is not going to sell a wagon here in North America. Not goin to happen.

Even Chrysler failed with the Magnum. The Taurus X is a slow seller too. And neither company dared to call them wagons.

If they imported it, it would not be a g8.

Yeah, there's only 8 members in the G8. Well, looks like they're gone to Poncho Heaven, now.:(

    Not gonna happen.....

( A shame ) They were going to bring out a 'El Camino' version of the G8 (saw the concept at the LA car show) - even announced when it would be for sale, but then they killed it when they saw the brand wasn't even going to survive.

The only possible hope we have is if Chevy decides to pick up the G8 as a 'new' Impala; Impala SS. They already sell a version of it in the middle east with that same badge (or is it a 'Caprice'? - maybe both....)

I hear GM Holden has got quite an investment into importing the car over here. Maybe they can make a bid to Chevy to keep it going...... THEN we can push them to certify the wagon. But it's a long shot at best.
