Hello, I've had plenty of Volkswagens over the years but I finally picked up my first wagon. A 1959 Chevy Nomad with most of its original paint intact, but the interior will need to be completely replaced. I'll post pictures after I've done some work on it. Eric
I think I saw the ad for that one a few months back - that was one fine fifty-nine! The interior was particularly nice......
Wow, a beautiful 59. That's the original paint? Obviously, it must have been garage kept all these years. How many miles does it have? Congratulations. You've got quite a find there.
Looks like a great find.. I've been working on a 1960 Parkwook for a couple of years now. Good luck with yours.. Lots of fun ahead...
When you enlarge the photos you can see the white paint on the roof is getting very thin, I'm just going to buff it out and drive it. The mileage is ?69681, the original engine and trans have been replaced with a 350/350, so the only thing that's still original is the paint. Eric
Congrats Eric! That's a great looking ride and extremely impressive to have original paint from that year in that good of shape. Consider yourself lucky to find one that is that great of a survivor!
Nice car! By the emblem, I see that it was originally a 283. As many on here already know, my first car was a '58 Nomad. Lodi? Do you ever see a nice '56 Nomad riding around town with a female at the wheel? Bill
Great lookin wagon!! The thin paint on the roof is gonna turn into patina. Love it while you have it. Mine has been like that for the last 10 years at least, and everytime I was it more comes off, so I'm gonna have to paint it soon cause its starting to rust.................. Oh, I have 4 '59 Chev Wagons by the way. Lovin yours!
I'll probably start collecting wagons and suburbans the same way I've collected VW's, 18 at the moment.:2_thumbs_up_-_anima
