Custom built Cadillac Estate Wagon was owned by Elvis Presley from 1972 until his death in 1977. After that it remained at Graceland until
it was auctioned off with other Elvis possessions in 1999.

The car was kept in Las Vegas at the home of Col. Tom Parker Elvis’s Manager and then at the Las Vegas Hilton where Elvis played
engagements from 1972 thru 1976. After his final engagement on December 12, 1976 the car was sent back to Graceland where it
remained in use by the staff well after
the King’s death.

The car started out aas a 1972 Cadillac Sedan Deville (see last picture to see what it started out looking like) that was shipped from Cadillac
to the American Sunroof Company in Southgate Michigan where it was converted into an Estate Wagon. I am told that In 1972 ASC built
two of these custom vehicles, one for Elvis and the other for singer Dean Martin.
Elvis's Cadillac Estate Wagon (VIN6D49R2Q163176) is cream with a brown vinyl top, light leather interior and has a small gold plaque
on the passenger side door engraved with "TCB." It was auctioned by Guernsey’s on October 8th, 1999 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.

The car has the original Tennessee title, an insurance document signed by Elvis and a letter from Jack Soden President of Elvis Presley
Enterprises describing a colorful story about the history of the car. Apparently Colonel Parker's widow laughed with Jack when she saw
the car at the Guernsey auction. She said Elvis owned the car and gave it as a gift to Colonel Parker. The car was in Las Vegas and
Elvis would "borrow" the car for trips to Los Angeles and his home in Palm Springs. Colonel Parker got tired of tracking the car down,
so he told Elvis to take the car back. Elvis took the car back to Graceland where it was used to haul around Elvis and his friends.
After his death the car was relegated to the staff at Graceland to run errands.
In addition copies of all original Guernsey Auction information and appraisal comes with the car.
Unlike other cars Elvis owned this one has never been titled to anyone but Elvis (when alive) and Elvis Enterprises (after he died).

CONDITION:
This car is in #2 condition as it sits. The engine has been detailed and in great operating condition all the gaskets and seals have been replaced
The exterior has minor surface rust on the edges of the hood only and bottom of the rear tailgate.
Does not take away from the look of the car at all. The value of this car is unquestionable and the reserve is well below the investment value of the car as it sits. BUT The real value to this car is for the next owner to realize if they know what they are doing.
I have had many Elvis experts and classic auto experts look at the car and discussed this car with the best auction houses in the country
and they all say if the car was brought in to #1 condition by someone and then auctioned at Barrett Jackson it would bring a 200% profit.
Example-
Last year at the Barrett Jackson celebrity auction a 1960 Lincoln Limousine previously owned by Elvis (then several other people) in #1 restored
condition brought $560,000. YES over half a million dollars! I don't have the cash to restore this car and get it to the next level so its time
to let the next owner do that. I am told to get this car to #1 condition it would cost $15K to 30K. Well worth the investment for someone
who has the cash. I don't know how to get it to that level or have anyone I would trust with the car. After restoration based on the sale price
of other Elvis and celebrity cars I am told that this car will bring minimum of $200K I don't travel in the circles that can get the car to this level.

It is now on eBay.... gather all your savings...sell your house, kids and the dog..... and own a Wagon with history
