Enjoying the snow

    Took the 2 loaded with bikes yesterday to the trailhead....this car is such a great hauler! Beween my friends and I there are 3 Cross Country's and my 245

    Yep!!!! 4 of us yesterday....3" or 4" of snow is usually a good time! yesterday was a bit tougher the snow had frozen layer on top....

    Lifehacker,com had something about putting zip ties on your bike tires to act as 'chains' in the snow and ice.......

    Brings back good memories from my teens (1980's), before I became FAT!:D

    Out her on my island there would be a lite dust of snow in town and we would head out into the boonies logging roads where there was real snow(Sooke Hills) and have a blast riding/crashing in the snow:2_thumbs_up_-_anima........and that just one of the many reasons I'm rebuilt with new and used parts today:biglaugh::D(y)
