Anybody having trouble with their ebay parts search on Ebay? On Mon I got a message from ebay saying that they were finally retiring their old verson of motors effective immedietly. I've been avoiding it like the plague. Since then some of my parts searches are not working. Are they trying to loose customers or what? I've tried their new version and it dosen't work the same. I had very good luck with the old version but the new one is a nightmare. My typical search would be 1971-1976 Chevrolet, Caprice, Impala, Kingswood, Estate, wagon. The new version won't even take all this information and when I try to work with the new search it either comes up with 23,464 or 0 results. Ebay YOU SUCK...
Not only does the search suck and the look is whore-able, its so damn slow. It makes my Cable internet seem like Dial-up. I hate it and I constantly sent them complaints that they need to leave it alone. Whats up with the Best Match crap? How the hell does it know what my best match is if I didnt type anything in the search? eBay does suck anymore, thats why I stopped selling and hardly ever even buy off there anymore.
Egay has seen the last of my business. Buying is a serious PITA, and I will not even consider selling there, anymore. This nonsense by Egay about using paypal only was the end for me. It is a bitch to "pay", and it sure as hell ain't my "pal".
Maybe you will get better results with this site, which lists ebay auctions. http://www.oldstationwagonsforsale.com/
The more you stay on the site, the slower it gets too unless you shut down the computer or erase all the cookies! It's because of the spyware they use and if you have anti-spyware, they are fighting each other all the time while your on the site, horrible! Clark
This has been driving me crazy too. Not so bad searching for vehicles, but to not even be able to search parts by year? Ridiculous! I can't believe that they aren't hemmoraging revenue already. I'm really angry about this.
Just keeps getting worse. Got some hot shot puter guys that are going to show the boss how to make money. Nope...gonna lose customers. But, they think they are so big and one of a kind that we will HAVE to do business with them. They still believe they are the only game in town...and they are sort of right.
