That IS one nice christmas gift......to myself. :yahoo:

Was looking for that 73 Chevrolet for a long time, but those are quite expensive (IF you find one).
This 74 Wagon will look as an alien in my Riviera 'showcase'

Harry, I love your display case. Where did you get it?
Erik, is 1/43 the size of a matchbox car? I know my Franklin/Danbury mint models are 1/25; just not sure if 1/43 is bigger or smaller than those.

Matchbox did 1:43 diecast cars, but 1:64 is the "well know" Matchbox size.

Here's a video that shows you a 1:43 car, look at the filmer's hand to get an idea of the scale [IMG]

I've contacted the people from NeoScale, they told me that the Estate Wagon will be on the market wordwide in December.
They don't sell directly to the customer, but you can contact them by e-mail (click photos in the first post)

If you send along information about your town, state/province and country, they will tell you where you can find the closest retailer.

Pricing for shops in the Netherlands is around 55 Euro. (74 US$ or 75 CAD)

They have a lot of cool 1/43 cars. '76 Chrysler T&C anyone?

How about a '73 LTD Brougham sedan?

I imagine a Country Squire isn't far from possible. They also have a lot of Lincolns. A '77 Continental, several colors of 77-79 Mark V, also several 80-83 Mark VIs, and other 80s Town Cars including a stretch limo. Also a 1986 Caprice sedan, 1977 Buick Electra sedan, 1974 LeSabre coupes, and my personal favorite of 70s Japanese sporty coupes, the 4 round headlight ('78 only I think) 2nd gen Celica:

Very nice detailing on those for 1/43 scale.
Being in America, we like things bigger. Just wish they made some decent wagons in 1/18th......
