Well, here is how she sits right after the primer went on. Next comes painting the rims, white walls and dog dish hub caps and some pinstriping.

All rot and dents has been fixed.

Looks like you've done some nice work.
Are you leaving it flat black? Because after seeing Fordfellow's paint job on that Chrysler I think your car deserves something more unique and characteristic.
But to each his own. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

I'll probably live with it like this for a while. I do like the matte paint jobs though.........Maybe not black in the future but who know right now. I change my mind every day.

I was just watching a 1988 movie "Stand and Deliver", and there was a nice matte black 1956 Chevy wagon just like yours. One of the first scenes.

No, not the "R"-word! That is used for unsafe POS bombs that people half-ass together. Kerry's car is more of a traditional build. Primer does not necessarily equate to a "rat".

Very true people seem to thing it fits all cars with black primer. There is a big difference for sure and that wagon is traditional in every way being functional and safe.

"RAT" does not bother me in the least. It is not a Rat Rod for sure but it is lowered, primed, and will soon have white walls..........Call it what you want....Rat, Traditional, etc.......It's all good !!!
