Hello swf members, I’m finally getting around to applying a ceramic coating to the hood, roof and liftgate on the Chevelle wagon. So far I’ve done the hood this morning and I’m waiting til later in the afternoon to do the roof and liftgate View attachment 88235 once the body cools down, as it’s not best to apply the product in strong direct sun. I’m most concerned with doing the flatter and rear sloping surfaces which take the most abuse from the elements. I can do the small exposed painted areas on the sides in the future if necessary and I will not be applying any product to the woodgrain. Already I’m pleased with how the product is adhering to the hood and making it very reflective and very slick. We’re not due to get rain for about 4 days so this gives the product time to cure properly.
