Drove through fog, rain and snow today to pick up this 62 Newport Hardtop Wagon. Yes Northern Arizona gets snow. It was well worth putting up with the elements because I've wanted a hardtop wagon for a long time. It runs and drives real well. I'm gonna clean it up a little and drive it for a while while waiting for the time to do it right. It's got a 361 that has had alot of work done and a rebuilt front end. New tires and Road Wheels that match my trailer wheels. Here's some pictures. I'll post the pictures in a reply. They keep mixing in with the text when I post them here.

Yes we do! The body on this wagon is 100% rust free. It does have some floor pan and spare tire well rust. No biggie, I do paint and bodywork for a living and have quite a few Chrysler parts cars to get sheet metal off of.

Congrats AZblack! That is a sweet ride, for sure. That's so cool the car and the trailer have matching wheels. I'm finding it very surprising how much better condition the paint is on the left side of the car compared to the right. Nice find. Good luck with it.

Yeah when I saw the wheels I kinda laughed. The right side of the car must've been facing South and getting exposed to much more sun than the North side. I've seen cars on both coasts that sat near the ocean and had one rusty side with badly piited chrome while the other side looked good. I guess how you store a car is really important.
