I have been looking for a 1980-1991 Colony Park or a 1991-92 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser with limited success. When I search on Google, lots of ads come up but either the seller doesn't email me back or the posts are more than a month old. Thanks wagonlover81
1. Start with Craig's List. You can customize your search by expanding the search radius to 3,000 miles if you want to, or you can spend time by switching to a 'local' CL where the vehicles might be in better condition, like the west coast or the general southwestern US area. 2. Go on the book of Face and join the various station wagon-related pages and tell the group what you're looking for. 3. Some other places to look: 3A: RIGHT HERE! We have a specific section of the forum where our members post wagons that are for sale all over the place - NOT specifically wagons owned by forum members, called'Station Wagon Auctions, Craig's List and Other..... It's a sub-section of the 'Station Wagon Classified' area. THERE HAPPENS TO BE AN '89 COLONY PARK THAT WAS JUST POSTED ON THERE TODAY.... Link: http://www.stationwagonforums.com/f...wagon-auctions-craigs-list-and-other-stat.16/ 3B: CARS-ON-LINE Sellers pay for a nice on-line ad. There is a search bar on the left that lists different types of vehicles to cull your search. 'Station Wagons' is one of the options https://www.cars-on-line.com/index.html Good luck with your search. Marshall (AND WELCOME TO THE FORUM!)
And also Hemmings classifieds. No Colony Parks in the years you are looking for, but a 1992 Custom Cruiser is there now - https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/oldsmobile I narrowed the search by Oldsmobile, with key words Custom Cruiser for the results above. Whatever route you choose, remember that it can be a long process instead of instantaneous results. And like Marshall said above, welcome to the forum!
Remember that most people can't even spell their own name so keep that in mind when searching. Also, most people don't know what kind of car they actually have (year, model, sometimes even make). I usually use autotempest to search craigslist nationwide. I'm not on Facebook and I've never been overly impressed with the organization (or lack thereof) of their marketplace. I guess it's all the rage with the kids these days though.
Thanks everyone! Ive located an 89 Country Squire near my location and am going to go take a look later today. I'll post how that goes. The pictures look good, but we all know how that is.
Check Ebay. This 91 Olds sold a few weeks ago, https://www.ebay.com/itm/3253483533...=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
