I could never imagine a board for wagons. But, why not? I have a 1955 Dodge Coronet Suburban 2 door wagon. It is really unusual. I have never seen a 2 door before, lotsa 4 doors. I have Gen I 392 Hemi that I am building for it. Tremec Magnum 6 speed manual. I plan on leaving the interior and the exterior stone stock. Right down to the Heather Rose and Sapphire White paint. Hope to meet and swap ideas with others.

    Wow! Thanks for the replies

Until I found this wagon on eBay, I was an Oldsmobile person. I have owned 4 1964-65 Olds Cutlasses and 1 1985 Cutlass. I have also owned a Dodge Rumble Bee pick up truck since new. It is the only new vehicle I have ever owned. I was building a pretty rare 1965 Olds Cutlass 442. Rare because it was a factory 4 speed, factory air car. They only made a few hundred of that combo. I was pretty well along in the project when this 2 door wagon came up on eBay. "Holy crap house mouse!", says I, and bought it on the spot. Now the Olds is up for sale and the wagon is well on it's way to completion. I thought I put a pic of it when I registered. But it didn't come out for some reason.

I have really liked wagons for a long time. A friend owns a 1965 Chevelle 300 2 door wagon. And I owned a 1955 Chevrolet 2 door wagon many many years ago. But one thing I am wondering about is the number of 2 door wagons Dodge made in 1955. I have seen several 4 doors. And a picture of two 2 door wagons. The chrome trim on each of the 2 door wagons is different from each other and both different from mine. Mine has the trim of the Lancer car. One of the other 55s had a single straight spear from the headlight back to just behind the front door front seam. the other 55 had a single line of chrome that started at the top of the back of the front fender, like the Lancer car, and continues back sweeping down until it ends at the rear of the rear fender at the top of the rear bumper. And they are the only other 2 door wagons I have seen. Anybody got any idea of production numbers?

I have tried to put some pictures in my page, but alas, I don't seem to be able to. It says my pictures are too big. And I don't have a clue about making them smaller. I can build a transmission in my sleep, I have built every engine from Harley to Pratt and Whitney R-2800 (that's 2800 cubic inches). But I can barely send email on a computer. It took me this long to find your message. I need remedial help. How do I make the pics smaller? The car is in the rebuild stage. I have the engine about half finished. I need to get the body media blasted and primed. Then I have to get the front frame clip and weld it in place, build the mounts for the engine and transmission and get them mounted. Then I have to get the rear end narrowed and mounted. I am not sure whether I am going to use the leaf springs or a 4 link yet. I have only had the car since November. And progress is moving along nicely, but it still takes planning, money and time. Especially that money part.

Well I want to see pictures of your wagon, so I'll try to explain how I create smaller pictures for posting. But I'm kind of a novice myself, so there may be an easier way.

If you have your photos on your computer under "My Pictures" ,
you would go to the thumbnail of the photo you want to reduce and "right click" on it. This should give you a drop down menu.
Rather than clicking on "open", look instead for the option "Open With". Once you put your cursor over "open with" another drop down menu should appear. You would then click on "Paint" , so you are "Opening With" "Paint". The picture should open and fill your screen, and you will likely only see a small corner of the photo on your screen.

On the top left, above the photo, you'll see some options. Click on "Image". You'll get a drop down menu of options. click on "Sketch/Skew"
You'll probably see "Sketch" Horizontal 100% and Vertical 100% and "Skew" horizontal 0% vertical 0%. Leave "Skew" alone, but change "Sketch" to a smaller number such as 40% horizontal and 40% vertical. (Use the same percentage numbers for horizontal and vertical to keep the proportions of the photo the same.)
Then click, "Okay". You should now see a much smaller picture on your screen.
Then you go to the top left and click on "File" and look for and click on "Save As" in the drop down screen. You will be able to save the newly reduced photo. Type in a new name for the reduced photo, so you can find it, and make sure its saving it in "My Pictures" and click "save".
Then when you come here and load the photo using "manage attachments" you should be able to download the smaller photo.

Note: I used 40 and 40 as an example here when I changed the photo size. You can experiment with 30 and 30 or 55 and 55 or whatever to create more or less of a reduction. When you "X" out of the photo you will now have both the original and the reduced version of the photo saved.

Hope this helps and wasn't too confusing.

OK.Thanks for taking the time to instruct me on this. I swear, I really can build a Harley Davidson 4 speed transmisson or a B-W 4 speed in a few hours. I have built many engines in my life. But computers have me. I am going to try this and, hopefully, things will work outThanks again.

    Jeezo-Beezo, It Worked

OK. Thanks a million. And I mean for real. Now I will try to open the pictures.

How can I open them on my page? Don't mean to be a pain in the butt. But if you ever need an engine or transmission rebuilt, I am your man. Regardless of what it is. Even a Lnco
