only when the seats are wet, do i ride on bags. in all seriousness, i find them to be too much of a pain...compressors going bad, lines leaking, bags leaking. nope just planning on impala ss springs to drop her a lil and improve handling
I don't know about that. The new systems are getting better everyday. Those new Shockwave set up is suppose to make your car handle better while lowering it.
Yea I drove an f150 with bags for 3 years, and 120k, and only had one bag break, and a line come loose.
Well you gotta get a good brand, use to know a guy who got deals through Firestone and they ended up on allot of muscle cars. Though not sure if I would want bags alone on the wagon, or bags that fit inside the stock springs. Why I asked. Though I may never haul anything but azz, it may be different
Bags are great! I have built a lot of air suspensions at my former work, and ride on air on all of my own cars.. There is no reason not to, if you like low cars and drive on regular roads.
Bags are cheapish though, now when you add dash controls and built in compressors it adds up quick. But like old school air shocks where you just have lines with fill valves on the bumper, you can get 2 bags n lines for less then $100
I want a system with a tank and compressor which I can't afford. I wish I could but even at that price I can't swing it. So it will be a static drop.
I wouldn't need all that. Id set it and forget it check the psi setting as often as a I check the tires. Which would be real easy if they made the cheap vavle stem caps in a PSI range id need for the bags. Love those things on my tires, one look and I know they are full.
