or other sports of interest? I have the USA and Finland bronze metal game on right now. It's not looking good for the USA 0-2 for Finland. But there still is half a period left in the 3rd.
The Americans hardly had a chance after having to play yesterday. They left it all on the ice against Canada.
Your right, they didn't really have a chance to regroup and get their game face back after a great game yesterday. Sorry neighbours, the Bronze goes to Finland 6-0.
We are getting up at 4AM to watch the game, no real big deal for me as I'm normally up then.....gona be fun getting Deb up I also enjoy all to do with skiing and bob sledding. Was watching the Biathlon, Canada was in 1st place, skied up to shoot, missed a couple targets, had to re-load and all in 5 seconds we were in 12th place On a side note..... after the 2010 hockey game I had to leave and it was as if the town was closed, not a car on the road or the highway. After yesterdays game I took the boys for walk and even then just after 11AM the streets were like Sunday morning traffic, almost everyone was inside/took the day off for the game. You have to admit though the US goalie rocked! IMO he was the best player in the game.
There's only one reason I get up at 4AM and it don't take long. By the way what's a hockey? The answer is no for me.
I think #1 son and friend are coming over. I'm cooking bacon & eggs, etc. The little Foodland here in town has been lined up most of the day. Guess folks are stocking up so they don't have to go out in the morning. I'm wearing hubby's Montreal hockey jersey.
The liquor commission has approved a one-day opening exemption for the event. All the bars open at 5AM Sunday morning.
Hockey? Isn't that the one where these grown men skate around chasing this poor, helpless piece of rubber, beating on it with sticks?
Yeah, kinda like grown men spinning helpless pieces of rubber while shifting a stick... Happy hockey game for those inspired to watch another page in sports history.
.........and drink beer 1-0 for Canada after the first period. ......Now we just have to survive another 40 minutes! I'm sure the rest of the street loves a few of us, yesterday 6 of us on the street decided we would set our car alarms off for every Canadian goal
