Hi folks, I've watched this forum for a while and just figured out how to join. Old car nut, computer moron. I've owned wagons all my driving years, and as long as there are colony parks out there, I'll keep driving them. My true love in autoland is 1967 mercury, I've owned at least one for almost 40 years now. I'm in northeast Pennsylvania and any help I can be to other members please let me know.
to the forum............... Old car nut, computer moron. .............. You qualify! There are a few members who may not be nuts, and one or two who are not morons,,,,,,,,, computer morons that is, but we all love station wagons and having fun.
There is a difference between being a lovable, slow learning, car nut, moron and a saucy, dirty old man...but your right I love you too...you little cutie. XOXO
i LOVE IT ,WELCOME FROM A COMPLETE COMPUTER MORON TO ANOTHER, IT MIGHT TAKE A WHILE BUT IT IS DEFINETLY HARDER THAN IT LOOKS CHEERS
Thanks for making me feel at home. It's nice to know the wagon culture is still so strong. I love them for all the right and sometimes wrong reasons. I do know the 67 mercury6755@Hotmail pretty well and have quite the collection of parts for them, probably the highest point of wagonhood the class of old, with the future ideas in place. And bulletproof , too. My first 67 with a 390 ran forever,429,000 miles without the motor apart, but in Pennsylvania the tin worm won the battle. Kinda brings a tear to the eyes don't it. But once the bug hits, it never goes away.
Welcome, Mercman. Nice to see another member with blue oval corpuscles. I don't have a long roof, yet, but will do eventually, and you best believe it will have a "Ford family of Fine Cars" key attached. I haven't owned anything else since November of 88 when my last, and final, G.M. died. Have lots of fun around here, and I'm sure someone will help you spend money and get a long roof into your driveway soon.
