Thought I would post a link from over on the GM Longroof Forum, about building a trailer from the back half of a wagon...... http://gmlongroof.4umer.com/91-6-b-...made-a-camper-out-of-a-b-body-wagon-t1223.htm One guy on a Honda Fourm built this. I thought it very cool........ or this...... ( Here's the link to the write-up on it) http://www.norotas.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=394
Cool i was thinking about this with the Town @country innie van i junked ...but i already have a shed and a utility trailer.
Dang it Krash! Like I need another project! Now I have to build my "double clamshell wagonette trailer"! THANKS ALOT! David
These are very cool. When I had my '60 Chevy, I was on the search for a '60 El Camino with the intention of building a matching trailer, but never found a donor I was willing to chop up. Maybe I'll have to look into that for the g-body. Matching trailer... Hmmmmmmmmm...
While I can appreciate the ingenuity and cool factor of having a barbecue ON the tailgate, I would prefer have my outdoor cooking accidents away from the car.
Yeah - he put the exhaust on for a laugh apparently. I didn't post all the photos on the Civic 'trailer', but in addition to a 'kitchen' in the back, it's got a double bed and storage in the 'passenger' area.
I've always liked the idea: http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2271 http://www.davintosh.com/2007/06/22/its-five-o-clock-somewhere/ (Morris Minor)
The artist proof of the Morris and teardrop is a dream IMO. The teardrop depicted is pretty small. Most are at least 6' long and 4 feet wide. The Morris would have a heck of a time pulling it. But it's a very cool looking combo.
