    Hey all

thought id ask your opinions as I'm pretty excited about the new plan for the wagon. The fabricator offered a sweet deal to make the wagon a panel...removing the rear glass and welding in the insert. He is also going to install a steel cowl induction hood...so between those and the rear rollpan with the caddy lights in it, and shaving the rear taillights I should have a pretty customized ride.

I cannot decide whether to have him shave the door handles as well...I dont want the pita of dealing with cellenoids and poppers, but i think it would really give it a smooth clean look

opinions on the plan are welcome

    thanks!!

Personally I'd keep the door handles. However, you could adapt newer more flushmount doorhandles that would give a cleaner look and still retain the convenience of "normal" door handles. It should look nice as a panel. Make sure you have good mirrors.

I was reading about Solenoids and Shaved handles, and I vaguely recall that the Police in some states really get anal if there's no visible grasp from the outside. The argument is that in an accident or a pull over they need to get occupants out. If it was an old convert roadster, it wouldn't be an issue or a car with a 'Collector' or 'Antique' plate. But there can be an issue there.

I like the Panel idea. If my quarter windows get blown out again with a BB Gun, that's what I'll do too.;)

A panel would look great. How would door handles from a vette or another car would look? It would give a cleaner look.

Very nice. I like the idea of flush handles as well.
