76 Buick Estate Rear Springs

Can anyone tell me whether the clamshell wagons had leaf springs or coils? I seem to remember a neighbor's 74 Pontiac Grand Safari having leaf springs.

I was confused because a couple of the parts outlets list both types! Anyway, I was toying with the idea of getting one of these cars at some point and just trying to learn a little more about them.
