I just rec'd a '70 flat top wagon. It has 90k miles and besides the drivers seat the int is very nice. All lights work inside and out. It was an original 350 2 brl car but now has a mid '70's qjet on it. Still wears all of it's original Sherwood green paint. From service records it's been driven 30k miles in the past 12 years. No rust except for service rust here and there. The worst part of the body are 3 doors that are dented from accidents. I have doors from a parts car available. So here are a couple of pics. I'm pretty fired up to have this as a driver while work continues on the '72.
The price was right. The same buddy has had 3 Vista's that I would've liked but this Cutlass wagon fits my budget nicely. And I don't have Vista glass issues to deal with, that's a big plus. Matt
. Nice Cutlass wagon. I'd be willing to bet there are more Vistas around than the standard Cutlass. Your wagon is not among the many I suspect.
Yea that's my thought too. I looked up the #'s and they made a little over 7000 flat top Cutlass wagons. A ton more vista's were made. Different is cool. Matt
Welcome to the forum. I love the rear quarters on those Cutlass wagons. Also great to have another Oldsmobile on here. Also see you are on the Classic Olds forum.
Yes, the rust issues of vista glass are very nice to avoid! And I'm astonished at that rarity! Sounds like you got a great deal!
