I am about ready to get the front brake conversion done and I have to move from a 14' to 15' rims. I am taking suggestions on what to go with.
What do you think will compliment this vehicle, and what will not brake the bank? Here is a link to some pictures of what she (Rosie) looks like now.

I figured I would leave it up to the pros for help. Thanks in advance!

No pros here but that's one sweet longfoof so your one lucky fella chefdough, as for your comdo I would lose the white walls with those existing wheels or smoothies with caps and for an old favourite widened steeles with factory hubcaps/wheel covers and your W/Ws would suit a treat  life's full of options

    Nice clean wagon:tiphat:

What do you want in a wheel? Are you wanting to keep a old school look or more modern?

Not wagons, but you get the idea......

    Gorgeous wagon! I love it!!

I've always been partial to Magnum 500s. I like the Torq Thrust style wheels that you have now, also, but without the whitewalls.

Funny. I was browsing your photobucket albums earlier, and saw this Ranchero. The earlier Magnum 500s, like the ones on that white Galaxie are chrome, and were stock equipment on some early '70s Torinos and Mustangs. They were available in 14" and 15". And are now available reproduction. The later Magnum 500s, like the ones on your Ranchero, could have been stock equipment on your Ranchero, or other late '70s Fords like LTD II. Instead of being chrome, they are painted with beauty rings. They're most likely 14". I can't remember if 15" was available.

I vote for black steelies with dog dishes, Torq Thrusts, or Magnum 500's. All with black wall tires. Can you sell your current wheels to offset the cost?

Good chance they are 14's considering it's a 70's model with the trim rings. I don't think I have ever come across those as pictured in 15', but that's not saying they were not available. I have the same 14's with trim rings from a 70's Ford I now have on my barned 67 Cougar. I've heard them called the poor mans Magnum 500's.....and I'm poor:p

    Wheels

Thanks all for the advice and pics. I can most likely sell the current wheels to offset the cost. The camper I will be pulling has moon caps. Maybe I should just go with the black and slap some caps on them.
I do like the magnums though. Pretty 44 from what I have seen.
Things will work out in the end. Thanks again kind folks!

Thanks again folks. Tough decision. Much better than picking out a vacuum cleaner though.:slap:

Picking out a vacuum cleaner sucks! :rofl2:I like all of those wheel tire combos except the very large chrome ones. Just never did get used to those oversized wheels.

LOL. Was wondering what the heck you meant. Jegs and Summit seem to have the best prices. You're looking at about $600 shipped for a set of 15x7 or 15x8, not including center caps or lug nuts. I sold my used 15x8's recently for $375, for the set of four. The chrome was a little milky, but they looked OK.
