Hi there, looking at foxcraft fender skirts for 59 Plymouth cars , do they also fit the 59 suburban?
The sellers have been painfully slow on answering.
    Thanks .

I would guess they won't answer because they probably don't know. Personally I doubt the rear wheel opening on the wagon is identical to the rear wheel opening on the other body styles. And, if its not exactly the same size and shape, then the fender skirt won't work.

    Skirts from a 58 Ford Sedan won't fit a 58 Ford wagon.
Skirts from a 64 Chev Sedan won't fit a 64 Chev wagon, so....

Because of the location of the spare tire, tucked into the wheel well, the lower edge of the quarter is normally a different tuck under. Because of that, the sedan/coupe fender skirts will not normally fit onto the wagon, no matter the make or model. It is unfortunate, too, as I do love the look of the skirts on the wagons. On wagons that came with skirts from the factory, I believe they were different than the skirts on the sedans and coupes for that very reason. I'm thinking, in particular, of the Chrysler Newport/New Yorker vs. Town & Country in the 60s and 70s. The sedan and coupe quarter had quite a bit of tuck under, and the wagon quarter went almost straight down to accommodate the spare on one side and the gas tank on the other.

Would be easy enough to fab up a set or even alter a set tho'. I like skirts and LOVE the '59 and '60 Plymouth Wagons! Would look killer with a set! :dancing:
