Great Looking Car, but I hate to see what the reserve price is, as of posting its at $6,000 with the reserve not met. We never have figured out what exterior option package the Fender Hawk decal came on. Pretty well Optioned with AM/FM CB, and I have never seen an H-body with Aftermarket Automatic Temp A/C, I have also never seen that Temp Gauge before.

May have found what the reserve is, also on Tampa CL for $13500.00

That AC system is interesting, all aftermarket of course. Wonder if that temp gauge was part of the AC package?

This car looks almost perfect. But you have to wonder, if it was already in pristine condition, why repaint it? I'd rather have the car with original paint. Will bidding reach $13,500? We'll see. :)

I agree with you, and I also do not think the bidding will get near $13,000. But I have seen some early Stock Vega's sell for over $15,000 so who knows? As for the Paint on GM H-bodies was very thin, and the 1st use of water based Paint for GM, and the results were very spotty. Some cars got very nice finishes, and others had very thin coatings. The Light colors seemed to be thinner than the dark colors. And it being a Florida car who knows what the sun and salt air did to it. The window channels seemed to trap a lot of salt on the coastal cars, and I have seen cars with very good overall paint have heavy surface rust in the window channels and even rust through when the rest of the rust prone areas are solid.

So this is the same dealer that has the No A/C brown 77 Pontiac Safari for $13,000 explains a lot!

Radio is aftermarket too. No Skyhawk's were ever offered with a CB one from the factory. Lots and lots of little stuff wrong...nothing another $2500 wouldn't fix though. $13,500 is nuts however...... :)
