Its time for the second annual Station Wagon Virtual Car Show!

Forum members will be able to participate in the VCS by entering their wagons in the following 9 categories:

    American Wagons

    American Stock 1900 - 1979
    American Stock 1980 - 2008
    American Modified 1900 - 1979
    American Modified 1980 - 2008

    European & Japanese Wagons
    European and Japanese Stock 1900 - 1979
    European and Japanese Stock 1980 - 2008
    European and Japanese Modified 1900 - 1979
    European and Japanese Modified 1980 – 2008

    And by popular demand.....
    Beater 1900 - 2008

Mild "bolt on type" modifications will be allowed in the stock category and the only restriction for the beater category is that the car must run.

The VCS will be restricted to wagons that you own (or have owned) and you can only submit 1 entry per category.

Entries for the show will be accepted until February 1, 2008. I will then compile all the entries and create a thread per category where you will be able to vote on your favorite cars from each category. Three winners from each category will be determined by the most amount of votes.

A Virtual Car Show would not be complete without virtual trophies. Members with the top three votes per category will be presented with virtual trophies that will be placed under their user name. Due to the limitations of the forum software, multiple winners will be restricted to displaying one trophy under their user name. Furthermore, a 2008 trophy will replace a 2007 trophy.

To participate, submit 1 photo and a description of your wagon to the appropriate category in the photo gallery. Only one photo (or entry) per category will be accepted. Good Luck!

Please take a look at this thread for instructions on how to upload a picture tot the gallery

Good luck, folks. My beater is too beaten (and will never run again):

But, I'll be watching... What's a good show, without a passionate audience, and an experienced eye? :D :biglaugh:

You have 2 stock cars in the same category. Which one do you want to keep?

Cars produced by American manufactures and that have not not been heavily modified.

Is there a cure for excess jaw drop and drooling? It is a pretty car. Of course I'm biased, but I love the extra moldings along the bottom side/door panels. :)

Yeah, the rules say it has to run. I could breathe hard at the exhaust pipe, making CO2 and everything. :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Makes sense, I can't install the wiring harness in these temperatures (-34C). 3 folks froze to death over the weekend here, walking around in cold-weather jackets and long johns. No breaks until mid-February.
